Fur-Babies

I can honestly say that my dogs are spoiled. SO spoiled. Their like my kids. I'm pretty sure most animal lovers are like that with their pets.

A few weeks ago, I ordered some doggy beds as well as some collars for the weenies through www.sewmesomethin.com. I've posted about that site before and I can't speak highly enough about Rebekah and the quality of her products. They officially showed up the other day and the weenies are already making good use out of their new beddies:

Macie with her bed. It has little Dachshunds all over it :)

Macies new little collar. Eric actually picked out the fabric for her, lol. It's glittery pink with hearts and crossbones...rather fitting since it matches her name tag :)

Izzy posing with her new bed. Such a Diva.

Cole and his cheeseburger bed. This was actually a custom order for me since Rebekah doesn't have this fabric pattern in stock. So, I went onto Etsy.com, found someone that had the fabric and it was forwarded to her. Once it showed up, she busted out with the cheeseburger bed and a matching collar for rollie pollie Cole-y :)

Burger collar! Such a fatty...

Speaking of Cole... he cracks me up with how panicked he gets when someone messes with his Kong Wubba:

That toy is the best thing I've ever bought that dog. Any other type of toy, he'll DESTROY within a matter of minutes...fluff guts everywhere, squeakys all mangled.. it usually looks like a toy murder scene. The Wubba's are amazing because they're made out of the typical Kong rubber (the mid section), the top is actually a tennis ball, has an internal squeaker and is covered with a tough canvas material. We actually have several different Wubba's around the house for him (red, purple, blue, green)...just because he has this knack of hiding them around the house, forgetting about it, then getting upset when we don't play.

Well, Eric thought it'd be nice to torment Cole by putting his Wubba on top of the mantle. Just...cruel. To do that to a poor, helpless..fat dachshund is just cruel. Cole managed to scale the recliner and get to the top, but sadly..he's still too stumpy to reach his beloved Wubba.

After about 15 minutes of whimpering, trying to scale the side of the fireplace and landing on Eric's head a few times...Cole was finally lifted up to his little red trophy. All the while, Eric got to enjoy a nice stiff neck after having a 32lb dachshund use him as a trampoline.

Love Love Love all the new beds and collars! :) Your pups are too spoiled!

As for the Kong Wubba, Wrigley had one for a while. He did eventually tear the cloth away from the ball, but unlike a stuffed toy it did not make a huge mess all over the house! He still plays with the cloth without the ball and plays with the ball without the cloth. The ball is actually a rubber squeaky ball. I try to put it inside of things, but his goal is always to get it out!

Oh...and tell Eric to stop teasing the dog! That's so not nice!
